Microsoft is up to giving a new makeover to the Office application for iOS and Android

Microsoft is going to give a new makeover to it’s Office, designated for iOS and Android mobile devices. It has also been said that the application, with its fresh interface, is all set to bring its Microsoft Research ‘micro productivity’ work into these Office applications.

As revealed by the authorities, the changes will be brought solely in terms of design and functionality. The company has even talked about the details that it has worked on so far. The company, however, confirmed that the Office applications are being re-designed, keeping in mind its Windows and Web Fluent design language and framework.

The idea of creating “microtasks” was first brought into consideration by the Microsoft Research Chief Scientist Jaime Teevan. It will help the user to focus on micro activities, part by part, instead of taking it in a gulp.
